J. Michael Hunter, RPh - President/CEO
Mr. Hunter is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. He envisioned HPS, Inc. as a company that specialized in the provision of quality, cost effective pharmacy care. He founded Hunter Pharmacy Services in 1987 and has been successful in building a corporation that services the needs of the customer. Mr. Hunter and his dedicated staff strive to continuously improve pharmacy operations and exceed each client’s expectation.
Renee Crozier, PharmD - Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Renee started her pharmacy career right after high school, working as a Pharmacy Technician for Hunter Pharmacy Services, Inc. at Memorial Hospital in her home town of Gonzales, Texas. She graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin in 2009. Renee worked at Walgreens as a staff Pharmacist in 2009-2010 and then returned to HPS to working as a RePAS Pharmacist in August of 2010. In 2011, she was promoted to Regional Director and supervised hospital, inpatient hospice, and surgical pharmacies. During this time, she also served as the Clinical Informatics Pharmacist for HPS, helping HPS facilities implement new Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). Through HPS, she has consulted for two EMR companies over the years to help pharmacies across the country implement new pharmacy software. In 2015, Renee became Chief Operating Officer for HPS, and in 2020 she was also designated Senior Vice President. In addition to her administrative role within the company, she also participates in the HPS Clinical Committee and serves as Pharmacist-in-Charge for the HPS remote order processing pharmacy in Oklahoma. In her downtime, Renee enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and riding horses.
Amanda Brown, PharmD, BCPS - Senior Vice President of Clinical and Remote Services
Mandy Brown graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. She completed a PGY-1 residency in hospital pharmacy at Scott and White Hospital in 2008 and received her Board Certification as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Mandy then worked as a part of the critical care and cardiology teams at both Scott and White Hospital in Temple and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas before re-locating back to Austin in 2012. Since then, she has worked for Hunter Pharmacy Services, first as the Clinical Specialist and a staff pharmacist before being promoted to Director of Remote Services in 2015. She became the Senior Vice President of Clinical and Remote Services for the company in 2020. In her downtime, Mandy participates on a mountain bike racing team, listens to music (including her husband’s band!) and spends time with her dogs.
Ted Morgan - Chief Financial Officer
Jennifer Robinson, PharmD, - Regional Vice President
Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. After graduating, she worked in a research lab for a year at UT Southwestern studying cholesterol metabolism and lipid lowering therapies. During this time, Jennifer realized a career in pharmacy would allow her to combine her interest in pharmacology with her passion for helping others. She went on to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with highest honors in 2014. After graduating, Jennifer began her career with Hunter Pharmacy Services as the Pharmacist in Charge at St. Mark’s Medical Center. In 2016, she was privileged to transition into the management team as a Regional Vice President, while also serving as a RePAS pharmacist. In addition to these roles, Jennifer is a member of the Clinical Committee, allowing her to help develop solutions to meet each client’s needs.
Trey Robinson, PharmD, BCPS - Regional Vice President
Trey hails from Brownsville, TX where his passion for pharmacy was first discovered while working as a pharmacy technician in training for Autrey Pharmacy through a high school magnet program. While in high school, Trey would spend afternoons working in the pharmacy where he was fortunate enough to see just how beneficial the guidance of pharmacists was towards improving the health of patients. After high school, Trey went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Baylor University and was accepted to the PharmD program at the University of Texas at Austin. Trey went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center of Brooklyn, NY where he studied the impact of a 24/7 on-call pharmacokinetics service on phenytoin drug monitoring. After graduating from residency in 2012, Trey joined the remarkable team at Hunter Pharmacy Services as a RePAS Pharmacist and hasn’t looked back. In addition to his RePAS Pharmacist duties, Trey now serves as a Regional Vice President, Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at Graham Regional Medical Center, and member of the Clinical Committee team with the goal of providing both amazing service to his clients and excellent patient care.
