Now accepting applications for a part-time pharmacy technician or LVN for Memorial Hospital. Hospital experience preferred. Must be available to work every other weekend. Salary dependent upon experience.
 


TYLER, TX - Staff RPh
Tyler ContinueCare @ Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler. Two days per week, sometimes three. Not the same days each week. Must be flexible. Must be available to work weekends, as many as possible, but staff willing to rotate.

Must be IV Certified (ACPE)
Must know pharmacokninetics (i.e. vancomycin)

 


Pharmacists for Remote Order Entry & Verification
Work from home! Hunter Pharmacy Services has recently begun after hours order entry remotely for hospital pharmacy facilities.

MUST BE A LICENSED PHARMACIST IN THE STATE OF TEXAS.

We currently staff this service Monday through Friday from 5PM to 9PM and Saturday and Sunday from 7AM to 9PM. Those hours will soon expand 3P-10P on weekdays and 7A-10P on weekends.

HPS sets up a computer at your home with dual screens so that both the orders and patient profiles can be viewed simultaneously. You will need to attend Pharmacy system training in order to learn PharmNet and HBOC (old version).

This is not a come and go position. When on duty, orders must be monitored the entire length of a shift. Orientation will be required.

Relief Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy technician with hospital experience who is willing to travel needed. This is a PRN position. Salary DOE. Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintenance of records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS (those with CPhT designation) MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE TEXAS STATE BOARD OF PHARMACY.

 


Staff Pharmacist
Staff pharmacists fill orders for drugs, monitor patient drug therapies, and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct supportive personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
 


Director of Pharmacy - Austin, TX
The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for all drug storage and drug preparation in the hospital. The Director of Pharmacy ensures that the pharmacy provides optimal services, meets all legal, accreditation and certification requirements, and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the hospital.
